This week's hike was at Upper Buttermilk Falls State Park just south of Ithaca, NY and the weather could not have been more perfect! It's been in the 90's all week and it finally relented for the weekend and gave me the opportunity to hike through the upper part of the park, see Lake Treman (from the ground and the air) and enjoy the outdoors! Libe Slope on Cornell University's campus was about half full for a 15-minute fireworks show taking place in Ithaca, NY on July 3, 2018.
Short blog tonight with a few highlight images from the Ithaca, NY community Fourth of July fireworks show, as seen from Libe Slope on the Cornell University campus. I was hoping for a better angle to include the clock tower and the fireworks, but no complains with a couple nice before photos of the clock tower, a couple fireworks shots of the crowd on Libe Slope and one shot of the clock tower as the crowd retreated from the bugs.
